Fashion Changes Since 1920s

Throughout the decades, different trends and different types of styles came out. The reason why different type of styles came
out was because of the trends that started coming into play. Trends are what make fashion what it is
today. According to Fashion Blog ; Fashion timeline blog and  You Tube ChanneFashion in the 1920’s led to changes like women's clothing becoming more "scandalous"
but also with longer dresses and changes in athleisure.

The 1920’s to the 1930’s was a time for women to start being “scandalous.”
It was the flapper era and rebellion started to become very popular. Everything started to
become shorter, ranging from hair, to dresses, and to undergarments. This was the time period
that women wanted to own their own looks without men trying to control it.

Though the flapper style was very popular, the classic, long dresses was still popular by some of
the women. Jeanne Lanvin started the trend and many other women followed in her footsteps. Jeanne
was a big time fashionesta during the time period. Whatever she said, goes. Even though she was
very popular during the time period, other designers started to become popular through sports wear
for women.

The most popular in the sports wear style was Suzanne Lenglen. She was a start tennis player and
made the look of sports wear very popular and acceptable for other women in sports.

Now, how will changing in the 1940's?
